Jane
Founder & Director
Jane has been involved in the childcare industry for twelve years. She is also a mother to two young girls.
After getting accepted into Law after school, Jane declined this offer and took on the what she knew would be most important career in the world, an Early Childhood Teacher.
During and after completing her degree in Early Childhood Education, she worked in a variety of roles within the industry. In 2012 Jane completed the RIE® Foundations: Theory and Observation Course, in Auckland New Zealand, on Magda Gerber's Educaring® Approach. This course gave her a new set of eyes through which to see children, influencing her life wholly, in her career and as a mother!
Jane's intense passion for Quality Child Care, whether provided by Long daycare/nursery teachers, preschool teachers, directors, nannies, fathers, mothers, grandparents, family day care providers (essentially anyone looking after babies, toddlers and pre school aged children) led her to establishing Primary Childcare Consulting (PCC).
